NOTE – Hard resetting your PDA will return it to a factory default state and all user
information will be erased.
1. Tap on Start > Settings > System
2. Tap on the “Clear Storage” icon
3. Enter 1234 and tap YES
Your PDA will now undergo a hard reset.
If you device has locked up and you are unable to do this there is a manual way to hard reset the device:
Hold down the soft keys buttons
Push in the soft reset button whilst still holding the soft keys and release the soft reset button
Release the soft keys after being shown a white screen asking you to press R to reboot
Slide out the keyboard, press R to reboot and press SPACE to undergo the hard reset.
