Hi,
The TyTN II we sell is the UK version and is factory unlocked from HTC so will work on any network (Vodafone, O2, Orange etc).
HTC only test their devices on Parrot car-kits. It seems they have a deal with them to promote this make only and I am told they do not offer technical support on any other makes. Having said that, many customers have used a variety of hands-free fixed and mobile car-kits without issues.
The Motorola IHF1000 kit requries the handset to support Bluetooth Hands-Freee profile, which I am informed the TyTN II does have. Therefore as far as I can tell, the units should work together fine.
There is another caveat that Motorola mention in their specifications, in that there are five extra features on the IHF1000 kit that are handset specific, ie. these features depend on the *phone* to use with the bluetooth kit. They are:
• Make calls using voice tags or name dial (as many as the mobile phone supports)
• Redial the last number or transfer in and out of privacy mode
• Accept or reject call waiting calls
• Transfer audio to hands-free
• Toggle between multi-party calls.
I cannot find any further information on this. I cannot therefore tell you whether these are features the IHF1000 has been set to accept from Motorola-only handsets, or whether it is down to the intelligence of the bluetooth controller on the phone to determine and use.
I don't think you will find a definitive answer online, unless you are very lucky to find someone else with the exact combination you want. Devicewire do offer all customers a no-quibble 21 day returns policy. If you are interested in this device, you could buy it to test with your IHF1000 and return it (immaculate in full resaleable condition) for a full refund (excluding shipping) in the unlikely circumstance that it it not compatible.
Kind Regards
Ivan
