Have you bought a P3600 before May 2007 ?

You may or may not know that contained within its shiny sleek interior a GPS (Global Positioning System) satelite navigation chip lies dormant.

Those nice people at HTC are giving a free firmware upgrade to switch on this hardware.

 This upgrade will add the following new features and improvements:

• GPS receiver capability enabled.
• Browser improvements (mobile CSS, WAP, Iframe, etc.).
• Bluetooth improvements.
• New data network icons to differentiate between GPRS, EDGE, 3G and HSDPA connections.
• Streaming player added.

Once you have upgraded (follow the instructions carefully) you can then download a FREE taster edition of TomTom Navigator 6.

Its important to upgrade the firmware before you download the TTN6 or you could end up in bother!
 

What will happen if i don't download it first, what do you mean I will bothered?

Because the firmware update does a hardware reset, you will loose the TomTom update and have to reload it again.
