GlobeSurfer II Wireless voice/data gateway is a complete, top-performance Fixed Mobile Convergence device, offering up to 1.8 Mbps wireless data connectivity on public HSDPA networks, combined with support for legacy telephone services.

GlobeSurfer II offers Internet access to any Wi-Fi equipped PC, without the need for a fixed public network line connection. No need either for any additional software installation on the PC. Because it uses the mobile public network for Internet connectivity, GlobeSurfer II is ideal for workgroups working in temporary locations.

It is also the easiest to use solution to complement or replace a fixed line access at home. The completely wireless configuration enables free placement inside the house, thereby optimizing radio reception, even in difficult environments. Moreover, GlobeSurfer II offers traditional circuit-switched telephony service by simply plugging any plain telephone set to its analog RJ11 connector.
