Nokia IMS – “device has been disabled by Mobile Gateway” error message
Problem
When attempting to synchronise the user receives an error message “The device has been deactivated by the Mobile Gateway”
Cause
This is normally caused when the user enters their login details incorrectly too many times in succession
Resolution
The Administrator will need to re-enable the device. To do this launch the Intellisync Admin Console on the server.
Browse to Management \ Devices \ Sync Devices and open the properties for the device in question. The following window will be displayed:

Untick the option to “Set the device to inactive”.
