Nokia IMS – “user account locked” error message
Problem
When initiating a synchronisation the process fails with the error message “user account locked, please try again later”
Cause
Intellisync can place a lock on a user account if the synchronisation process fails to complete for whatever reason. This may be due to a period of network congestion or due to several applications attempting to access the user mailbox simultaneously.
Resolution
On the Intellisync server open a web browser and browse to http://localhost/diag
Scroll down until you see a link for Outstanding locks:


A list of user accounts with locks on them will be displayed. Click on the option to Release.
The user will now be able to synchronise.
