Stock has arrived of the TyTN with Windows Mobile 6 Professional, replacing the Windows Mobile 5.0 of old.

This means the WIFI now supports WPA2 & WPA2-PSK encryption in addition to WEP and WPA

All the normal Windows 6 feature and graphic niceties are present.

Existing owners of WM5 TyTN's can register at www.htc,com with their IMEI number and download a free upgrade to WM6. Please check compatibility with any critical programs or applications you use, as as far as we know, HTC do not seem to provide a WM5 ROM image to revert from WM6 to WM5 once the upgrade is in place. The WM5 to WM6 upgrade requires a fully charged battery. The upgrade wipes the units memory so please sync contacts and move data/pictures to a memory card, and take out that card, before installation.
