Insert your SIM card into the modem.
Connect the device to a USB port on your computer.
Windows will detect the new hardware automatically and install a USB Mass Storage Device.
Once the mass storage device has been installed, the installation wizard for the 3G modem will launch automatically.
If it does not, simply double click My Computer and locate the HUAWEI drive that will have been added. Double click the icon for the drive, then double click ‘autorun.exe’
The wizard will install the necessary drivers and software for the modem automatically.
Once installed, you will see an icon on the desktop called ‘Mobile Connect’:

Double click the icon, the Mobile Connect dashboard will be displayed. To configure your connection settings, open the Settings menu and select Network Connection Settings:

The following window will be displayed:

Click the New button. The Settings field will no longer be greyed out. Enter the correct settings for your network provider:
Orange:
Username leave blank
Password leave blank
APN orangeinternet
Vodafone:
Username web
Password web
APN internet
O2:
Username web
Password web
APN mobile.o2.co.uk
T-Mobile:
Username leave blank
Password leave blank
APN general.t-mobile.uk
Leave the rest of the settings at their default values.
Click Save to save the profile and OK to return to the dashboard.
To initiate the Internet connection, click the Connect button.
