    E-Ten support

    Hi,

    My X800 has developed the fault whereby the SD card no longer clicks in place, this has been reported by other X800 users on other forums too. Can anyone tell me how I go about returning/replacing my unit, I have emailed Eten tech. support without any response.

     Thanks.

    Re: E-Ten support

    Eten do not support the devices directly for warranty work, they are dealt with by the dealer who sold it to you.

    This is how Eten UK warranty works if under 14 days old to you dated via your end-user receipt;

    You call dealer whom you bought it from. They provide under 14 day old invoice to Eten UK or their distributor for authorisation to swap unit out. You send or take unit to your dealer who refunds you or replaces it as you wish.

    This is how Eten UK warranty works if the device is over 14 days old to you dated via your end-user receipt;

    You call dealer whom you bought it from and they issue a returns number as per their own returns system. They get the device back and send it to Eten UK (Europe) repair centre in Germany for a warranty repair which our own customer care centre say takes about two weeks. The dealer pays and actually sends the unit to germany, not the customer.

    If you bought the device from us at devicewire and need to return it for either of the above, please feel free to call the Customer Care line on 0870 849 0233 or email them on sales@devicewire.com

    Due to Eten's IMEI tracking and control systems, we are unable to offer a warranty service for devices not purchased from us.

    Kind regards

    Ivan
